I've been with Alex for about 8 months now; I got myself a PT as, despite a strong sports and military background I just hate the gym and never feel that I get a good workout or just wander around aimlessly. With Alex, i know i will always get what i need, a solid and effective workout tailored my my end goals. Training 3 times a week, Alex manages to mix it up and keep me motivated on days when i can't be arsed and makes sure my session is maximised. I want to work hard and Alex can really push you if thats what you want so that you reach your goals. When an old injury started to impinge, Alex adapted the sessions and added suitable rehab work to get me back unto speed whilst moving the workout emphasis elsewhere until back unto speed. With Alex you don't need to join a gym swell like most PTs and the gym he uses is spot on. If your willing to work to get what you want Alex will help you, but if youre not, no PT will make you buff! Ive enjoyed Alex's banter and he's an easy guy to get on with, something important if you're spending a lot of time with a PT. In sum, a good PT, good sessions, gets you heading towards your goals, adaptable and good value for money. A personal trainer should provide a personal service in all respects and he does. Enjoy

I have always kept reasonably fit through swimming several times a week and walking, but never Gym work. Following a "cardiac event" earlier this year I attended a NHS Cardiac Rehab course, which was very helpful and restored my confidence in re-commencing training. When I started with Alex he made sure he did his homework regarding my condition and the drugs regime I am on and as a result he approached the training from a different direction, building levels without exertion. I have also put in the effort to support his work. The result is that I am fitter and stronger than in many years, thanks to Alex's professional support and motivation. It's not all serious as there is lots of banter floating around. Many thanks Alex

I started working with Alex around two years ago now. I knew I needed to get into shape and get more focused on being healthy, but I had a big problem - I genuinely loathed exercise. It was my worst nightmare. Alex kept me motivated and focused and pushed me to do things that I never thought I could do.
Unfortunately, half way through, I had a back injury (which I've had for as long as I can remember) flare up again. This meant for three months, I was pretty much bed ridden and could barely walk. My mobility was severely hindered, my glutes switched off and my body was just generally twisted, tight and in extreme pain.
During this time, Alex provided me with friendly support by checking up on me and ensuring that I was still stretching and seeing a chiropractor regularly. Which was obviously not in the contract!
After 5 long months, I got back into the gym with Alex and we started having extensive rehab sessions. He had spent hours researching my problem and coming up with exercises to get me back up and mobile. Now, almost six months later, I am fit, healthy, loosing weight and barely had any pain - apart from working out! I'm even pushing a sledge up and down the gym, which I never thought in a million years I could do. {Watch the video number 1}
Anyone who needs any rehab work or just a serious boost and kick up the ass to be motivated, this is your guy!
